Livingston Sur

Just stumbled on this lovely and surprising piece of music from Livingston Sur - Bryan Eubanks, Andrew Lafkas (both of whom PSF has presented before), and Todd Capp. With Eubanks playing both his less-used sax and electronics, and Lafkas adding his less-used electronics to his doublebass, along with Capp on percussion, the three seem to use the classic jazz trio format plus electronics to split the difference between post-Giuffre/Braxton/etc. chamber-free-jazz and contemporary electronic improvisation.

Check it out.
